So far, so good. Hmm.. I don't quite get why my bro likes to blog in riddles and poems. Sounds all too deep. Way to 'chim' for me. Hehe.. Anyway, so far everything has gone to plan and I'm on my way to Sg - soon. I'll be back in time for camp. Uhh.. maybe not the first day. But that's ok. I'll just miss the Amazing Race. Well.. what to say? Uni's finally over and I'm starting to get some holiday brain back into my system. I haven't been on holiday mood all this while really..
But.. I'll be back in Sg soon. I suppose one of the things on my mind is: What do I do for Christmas presents this year? I guess it has been kind of a culture to buy presents for everyone.. and it's not that I don't want to spend the money and all that. But combine it with the hassle of trying to figure out what they already don't have and making sure that most of everyone gets at least a little something from you.. sighs. It's just all so crazy when I should be having a relaxing holiday away from Sydney. Hehe. Shopping is absolute crazyness, that's for sure. Anyway.. that's one thing in my headspace at the moment.
So uni is finished? Yea. I guess it is.. and I'll be working next year. My aunt wants me to work while I'm in Singapore.. but I don't think I will just cos it takes up alot of my time. Heh.. that I should be enjoying. Furthermore, I'll be starting work next year.. so I'll get the whole deal next year. I might let myself enjoy that one more month.. Hehe.
Hmm.. I'd really love to have someone to practice Spanish with. I feel like I'm losing it already and it has only been a few weeks. AH! I'll have to use it on bear when I get there... Heh. Need to practice. Lots! I'd love to be able to translate from language to language. Be an interpreter. That would be cool. But Dad says that it's not that great of a job. Oh well.. I might just have to go live overseas - again. Hehehe.... just kidding...
Anyway.. there's my update. I suppose it didn't quite make much of a difference. Just blogging for the sake of it I guess. There's nothing interesting about my life.. and I don't use the blog literally as an online diary. So... see you when I see you.

Just got back from ladies camp - Promises. It was a relaxing weekend I guess. Probably wasn't the best time for me to be going away since I'm on Week 12 of uni and having exams next couple of weeks. But I managed to have a nice time away from Sydney for the weekend. Not that Sydney is bad but it is good to get away now and then.. just need to choose the right times! Hehe.
Promises. Shirley Lucas and Penny Lucas were the speakers for this year's camp. The mother daughter-in-law team. It was inspiring to hear from them and the promises that God had given them in every situation. This year there were 5 sessions in total. Saturday had 3 sessions in the single day. Also had this 'Lilies of the field' activity that involved creating outfits out of plastic bags. Most of the outfits were actually really nice and could look like a real dress! Heh.
But yes I have to go soon because I need to study.. for exams. Still got some group assignment that needs to be done. Argh.. Uni sucks.
Well.. until I have motivation to blog again..

So I'm here blogging again, but I can't quite remember what happened yesterday. Usually it's like that with me. But yesterday... I was at uni. For Spanish in the morning. I think my tutor doesn't quite like me. Hmm.. maybe because I'm always late - by half and hour or so. So she's always like,"Venetia.. mas tarde!!" Haha. It's pretty funny though. Well I do enjoy Spanish. Although, I have to know like 5 types of conjugations (Bear, you know what I mean!) and I have to remember to use them at the right times and context. Presente, Pto Perfecto, Pto Indefinido, Futuro, Pto Imperfecto. Sorry I don't know the proper english translations, you could ask Ernie or Cheryl for that. Heh. But yes and sometimes they are completely different between each and... ?! But like I said, I do enjoy it. Just wished I could speak and process my brain a lil bit quicker.
I had to meet my friend for a group assignment. Well.. It's more like a group of 2. Yea. In the last group assignment that we did we had 4 in a group, 3 girls and this weirdo guy. I'm serious! He's probably the strangest person I've ever met and I don't understand how he's doing a degree in computer science. Anyways, the group assignment was totally done by the 3 girls and this guy did pretty much nothing. Considering that he was doing a degree in computer science he should at least have been able to do the coding. But he didn't. The whole group meeting time that we had, he spent looking at Wikipedia, forums on runescape something and laughing to himself. Weird. Then, thinking that we were all computer illiterate he just tabbed between pages when we were looking at his computer screen and all that. Anyways... the point is, I really didn't want to have to work with him again for this second assignment. But one of my friends joined another group so they have 3 now. Then it was left with us.. and long story (I'm tired now), told the lecturer and weirdo's gonna hand one in on his own. You can figure out the rest.
Oh... Daddy was in Sydney yesterday!! Flew in on Monday night and I picked him up from the airport. And because I no longer have a big place to live in, he stayed in the city. Which worked well anyway. Managed to catch some dinner with Dad before he flew off at 7pm. Haha. Then.. drove to Como with Jake to see my JOJO!! Happy ___ Birthday Jo!! She'll get that if she read's it. Haha. We got her a group present coffee machine. Very nice and you could tell she really liked it. Heh. Straight away she brought it up to her room and had it sitting on her fridge. Hmm.. Jo's little dog Lily is a chihuahua and it is a very.. protective dog. Haha.. You'll have to see it to know.
Ohh... got to go to uni now :(
